    • As the peak industry body, the REIV provides information and guidance on matters relating to real estate laws and regulations. The Institute leads and represents the industry when lobbying government on matters related to real estate.

  • Training & development

    • The REIV is a Recognised Training Organisation (RTO) assisting people develop the skills and expertise required to be successful in the real estate industry. Training offered by the REIV ranges from entry level courses such as the Agent’s Representative Course, through to ongoing professional development for experienced real estate agents. Every member of the REIV must undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain their membership. 

  • Market Insights

    • The REIV provides the most comprehensive and credible statistics, analysis and insights on the Victorian property market. Our wholly owned subsidiary, Property Data, is a leading provider of data and tools for Victoria’s leading agents.  

  • Rewards and recognition

    • The REIV places great emphasis on continuous improvement and development in the profession. Through a series of competitions and awards the Institute encourages members to constantly invest in business improvement.

REIV individual members have access to a range of resources and benefits, including discounted pricing on most training and events.

When logged in to the REIV website, members can:

  • Earn REIV CPD points for attending events and training 
  • Access member only research data, such as the monthly Research Bulletin
  • Access member only information, including the new REIV Vendor Authorisation & Price Representation form
  • Maintain their membership, including updating contact details and reviewing invoices
  • Manage subscription preferences and chapter/division membership
