Geoff White elected REIV President for 2015-16

The Real Estate Institute of Victoria has announced that Geoff White has been elected President for 2015-16.
Mr White has a long history of involvement with the REIV, including as a previous REIV President, having served in the role in 2003-04.
He has been a Director of the REIV for many years, including from 1999–2007 and 2014-2015, and has served on numerous REIV committees and as Chairman of the Auction Chapter Committee.
A fifth generation estate agent, he commenced his career in real estate in 1984 and has since managed and sold residential, commercial and industrial property, owned and operated his own real estate offices and served as CEO of a growing franchise group. Mr White is currently Commercial Manager and Branch Manager for Lucas Real Estate's Yarra Edge office.
He said that he is privileged to again serve REIV members as their President.
“The REIV Board is united in its focus to improve our real estate profession and follow the good work of the previous Board,” Mr White said.
Two new office bearers have also been elected to office for 2015-16 – Mr Joseph Walton (Senior Vice President) and Mr Frank Hellier (Vice President).
Mr White congratulated Mr Walton and Mr Hellier, and welcomed two new REIV Directors who have recently joined the REIV Board - Mr Richard Simpson and Mr Cameron Way.
