Agent’s Representative Course in Real Estate

To work in the real estate industry, you must first complete the Agent’s Representative course. This is the first step towards a CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate), the qualification required to become a licensed real estate agent.

Overview

This course covers the education component required by the Business Licensing Authority (BLA) to work as an Agents Representative.

As an Agent’s Representative you can work for a Licensed Real Estate Agent and undertake a broad range of duties and responsibilities such as sales, property management, business broking and buyer’s advocacy. Successful completion of the Agent’s Representative Course can lead you to many exciting career opportunities including:

The course includes three units of competency from CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate).

Pricing

Face-to-Face classes (suspended until further notice) $795.00
Online, self-paced learning $645.00

The fee includes:

  • Access to REIV’s e-learning platform, PropEL for up to  five months from enrolment, which includes:
    ○ All learning material and additional resources you require to complete your course
    ○ All online assessments, including up to three re-submissions

  • Access to highly qualified REIV trainers
  • Additional student support if required
  • Issuance of a Statement of Attainment upon successful completion of the assessment requirements
 

Students will also be offered the opportunity to take up short term complimentary REIV Individual Membership- terms and conditions apply.

This course is not eligible for government funding.
 

Relocating Interstate Agents

Students who have completed the three units of the Agent’s Representative interstate, will be charged a reduced rate of $585.00 to assist them in meeting the requirements in Victoria. Please complete the manual registration form and submit along with a certified copy of your Statement of Attainment.
 

Entry Requirements

Whilst this course has no specific entry requirements, students will need access to a computer with reliable internet connectivity, with Microsoft Word 2007 or later (or compatible software) and Adobe Reader, a printer and scanner. Access to simple video facilities such as a mobile phone will also be required.

Students must be:

  • over 18 years of age
  • based in Victoria*

* The REIV is not CRICOS approved and is unable to deliver to international students.
 
Students are expected to have a good understanding of the English language as the interpretation & application of legislation is a large part of the course. Students will also be required as part of their assessment to participate in role plays.
