Inside PM - Safety in the Workplace

Details

Visiting strangers in their homes is usually considered a bad idea but is routine work for a real estate professional.

Whether you are going for an appraisal, a negotiation or a routine property inspection, you are often visiting strangers in their homes. Your personal safety is paramount when visiting a property or clients onsite. While not all situations can be avoided, there are many steps you can take to be aware and prevent any possible incidents. Office Principals and Managers must also take the necessary steps to ensure safety of their teams.

Join us for an informative session on strategies, guidance and tips on keeping yourself and your teams safe.

Keith Banks, one of Queensland's most decorated police officers, will share tips on personal safety, the do’s and don’ts, things to look for and self-defense tips. Keith was in the Queensland Police Force for twenty years (1975-95), going undercover during the premiership of Joh Bjelke-Petersen and Terry Lewis' time as police commissioner, the most notoriously corrupt period in Queensland history.

This practical session will be followed by a panel discussion with senior managers who will share their approach to safety with their teams and the systems, processes and training that they have implemented in their businesses.

Webinar link and access details will be provided the afternoon prior. Please contact [email protected] should you have any queries.
