Supporting Our People: Workplace Well-being

Details

We often call real estate a people business, spending time and resources training our teams to be effective communicators and negotiators. Successful real estate professionals talk about the importance of building relationships. These terms are not new to our sector, but the pandemic has highlighted a critical piece of puzzle that we may not have paid adequate attention to (or haven’t so far had the need to!); the health and mental well-being of our people – our teams.

We have rightly been focusing on running our businesses efficiently and safely during this challenging time. However, it is important that we recognize and address the toll that this has taken on the health and well-being of the people we work with.

The REIV has collaborated with Beyond Blue to provide members a range of tools and resources that will help you start the conversation and lay out a plan for your teams.

Join us for an online panel discussion with Beyond Blue and peers from the real estate sector to discuss the issues and share the information and support available. The panel will discuss:

• The role an employer can play to create a healthy workplace
• Resources available to help workplaces and employers
• Tips for coping during the Covid pandemic
• Assisting team members who may find working from home challenging
• Managing your personal and family commitments whilst trying to run a business.

Webinar link and access details will be provided the afternoon prior. Please contact [email protected] should you have any queries.
