Breaking the glass ceiling in professional AFL coaching in the men’s and women’s competitions has required incredible dedication, passion, growth and support from different quarters. Peta will talk about the importance of building a network of support that can help you achieve your potential.





Leah Calnan,
REIV President and Director of Metro Property Management
Leah’s experience encompasses more than 20 years in the property industry, commencing as an Assistant Property Manager. Leah is currently proprietor and Director of Metro Property Management & Metro Property Sales and was elected to the REIV Board of Directors in 2014. Leah is well-known and highly respected in the real estate sector. Now in her second term as REIV President, Leah knows the industry closely and is well placed to share her knowledge with others. Leah will host a panel discussion with four leading women in real estate regarding their career journey. The panel discussion will be full of insights and tips that could help many more women carve their personal career journey.

With a career founded in the real estate industry in Taiwan, she has a unique level of understanding of the Chinese buyer mindset. Prior to commencing her real estate career in Australia, she also ran her own conveyancing business, which added to her level of perspective and understanding of the processes one goes through when selling property.




Megan Mander, Managing Director, Urbane Commercial 
Megan’s impressive Commercial Real Estate Career spans over 20 years and prior to launching Urbane Commercial Pty Ltd Megan gained her vast industry expertise with a range of high-level clients across several specialist Commercial Agencies. Her experience includes management of various assets including strip retail, office buildings, police stations, service stations and childcare centres. Priding herself on always being at the forefront of the industry, Megan’s exceptionally thorough knowledge of all aspects of commercial real estate has seen her awarded Commercial Property Manager of the Year by the REIV in 2018 and nominated as a finalist for the National Real Estate Property Manager award in the same year. Megan is currently completing a Diploma of Operations and Facilities Management.
