From October 13 a range of changes to Rental arrangements will take place in Victoria. These include:
Records showing compliance with the rental minimum standards.
Mandatory gas and electrical safety checks every 2 years.
Gas checks must be completed before draughtproofing.
Ban on rental providers and agents charging fees for applications.
