Honour Roll: Master Auctioneers

Established in 2015, the REIV Master Auctioneers Program recognises some of Victoria’s most accomplished auctioneers and sets a benchmark for best practice auctioneering.

The accolade celebrates auctioneers who have demonstrated exceptional skill and professionalism, particularly through success at state and national competition level. Winners of the REIV Senior Auctioneering Competition receive and retain the title of Master Auctioneer while they remain members of the Institute.

The REIV works closely with its Master Auctioneers to continually enhance the skills, standards and reputation of Victorian auctioneers, ensuring the profession remains strong, respected and future-focused.

Honour Roll: Senior Auctioneer of the Year

The REIV Senior Auctioneering Competition is Victoria’s premier auctioneering contest, showcasing elite technical skill, presence and performance under championship conditions.

Each year, the competition identifies the state’s leading auctioneer, with the winner and runner-up progressing to represent Victoria at the Australasian Auctioneering Championships (AUSTROS). The title of Senior Auctioneer of the Year is one of the most prestigious individual accolades within the Victorian real estate profession.

Honour Roll: Novice Auctioneer of the Year

The REIV Novice Auctioneer Competition provides an entry pathway for emerging auctioneers to test their skills in a structured, supportive competition environment.

Designed to identify and develop the next generation of auctioneering talent, the Novice Competition focuses on foundational technique, control and auction craft under live conditions. Many Novice competitors progress to compete in the Senior Competition in subsequent years.
