Complete the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice while you work in the industry. The program is delivered through a combination of online meetings, REIV trainer support and learning materials.
Traineeships are an effective and efficient way to complete your new Agent’s Representative course (CPP41419 - Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice) while continuing to build practical skills in the workplace.
Eligibility
The REIV accepts traineeships for individuals who are employed on a full time basis in the real estate industry. Trainees must:
be 18 years and over
be authorised to study in Victoria**
undertake their training and live in the State of Victoria.**
have access to a computer with reliable internet connectivity, with Microsoft Word 2007 or later (or compatible software) and Adobe Reader, as well as printer and scanner.
have a good understanding of the English language as the interpretation & application of legislation is a large part of the qualification.
**The REIV is not permitted to deliver traineeships to students who reside in other States or Territories and this is is a condition of enrolment.
Traineeships are not available to individuals who have previously completed the qualification.

Duration
The REIV will work with the employer and trainee to develop an individualised training plan. Trainees have 10 - 12 months to complete the course if they are full time trainees.
Employers are required to schedule 3 hours of study time every week during business hours.
Delivery
The trainee will have access to an experienced and qualified REIV trainer-assessor.
The trainer will have at least monthly contact with the trainee through live online meetings, phone discussions and/or other means.
The REIV does not deliver training using third party relationships, including GTOs.
Fees
The student fees are dependent on the individual’s eligibility for Victorian Government funding (Skills First). This training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding. Learn more about Fees, Charges & Refunds.
The trainee will receive REIV learning material to support their workplace based learning.

Assessment
Students need to be able to demonstrate that they can perform a given task/s in order to be deemed competent. Students are provided with appropriate training to facilitate the learning to achieve competency.
Assessment methods include
written tasks, including reports & short answer questions,
undertaking projects
analysis of case studies
simulation of common industry scenarios through role plays
formulating and presenting a portfolio
