Tarneit is a rapidly expanding multicultural suburb located 25 km west of the CBD. Over the next 20 years the population of Tarneit is forecast to grow exponentially.  A larger proportion of its population was born overseas and a significant proportion of these residents were from non-English speaking countries. The suburb features Wyndham Village Shopping Centre and Haven Park. For transport Tarneit railway station is on the Deer Park - West Werribee railway line and is part of the V/Line coach service.
