Kealba is located 15 km north-west of the CBD. Kealba is a small residential suburb located in Melbourne's western suburbs. It experienced rapid growth during the 1970s and today consists of primarily larger older families with three-quarters of the population aged between 0-17 and 25-49. Kealba also features part of the Brimbank Park incorporating the Kealba Wetlands and a small area of quarrying and extraction industries in the south.
