Hoppers Crossing is located 24 km west of the CBD. Hoppers Crossing has been one of the fastest growing new suburbs in Melbourne over the last twenty years. It has been one of the major areas of new residential development in the Werribee corridor to Melbourne's south-west. Hoppers Crossing is primarily residential in nature but also has large tracts of reserves and parkland and an industrial precinct in its eastern parts. The suburb also features the Woodville Park Hogans Corner and Werribee Plaza Regional Shopping Centres.
