Bayswater is located 26 km east of the CBD. Located between the Dandenong Creek in the north and Boronia Road in the south Bayswater is a mixed-use suburb. The Belgrave Railway line bisects the suburb dividing residential and industrial land uses. A large proportion of Bayswater's labour force is involved in manufacturing some of whom would work in the local industries such as Dunlop Vulcan and Siemans. The suburb also features Bayswater Park.
