The vacancy rate in metropolitan Melbourne held steady at 2.4 per cent over the month, while regional Victoria saw an increase to 2.0 per cent.
Median weekly house rents rose to a new record high to $585 for metropolitan Melbourne while it returned to earlier peak level at $500 for regional Victoria.
