Market Snapshot - October 2025

  • The vacancy rate in metropolitan Melbourne went down to 2.4 per cent in October 2025, while regional Victoria held steady at 1.9 per cent for the fifth consecutive month.

  • Median weekly house rents remained unchanged over the month at $580 for metropolitan Melbourne while it saw a decrease to $495 for regional Victoria.
