Know what to expect, prepare with confidence and put your skills to the test.
This interactive workshop takes property managers through a real-world VCAT matter from preparation through to a simulated hearing, providing practical guidance on how to build, present and respond to a case.
Participants will work through a case progressively throughout the day, identifying the key issues, gathering relevant evidence, preparing documentation and developing their approach to the hearing. You’ll then put that preparation into practice during a live mock VCAT hearing, with selected attendees taking on the roles of applicant and respondent before a simulated VCAT Member.
Led by REIV’s Subject Matter Expert, Amy Blackburn and CPD Manager, Natalie Cronin, the workshop will explore the practical steps involved in preparing for VCAT, presenting your case clearly and confidently, and responding to difficult questions and unexpected scenarios.
