Managing Close-Density Living: People, Relationships & Resilience

Close-density living brings people, personalities and expectations together in ways that can make the role of an OC Manager as much about managing relationships as it is managing the building.

This panel brings together experts to explore the people side of owners corporation management, and how different perspectives can help managers approach difficult situations more effectively.

The discussion will look at managing competing expectations, having difficult conversations, navigating conflict and knowing when a matter requires a different approach. Panellists will share practical insights from their respective fields, including what can help de-escalate situations, maintain professional boundaries and keep relationships constructive.

With perspectives from the front line of OC management, the legal profession and mediation, this session will provide managers with practical approaches for managing people, conversations and conflict in close-density communities.
