Chapters & Divisions

Connecting members with each other and the REIV

On joining the REIV, Members are assigned to the Metropolitan or a Regional Division based on their office location and can join as many Chapters that are of interest to them.

Division and Chapter affiliations support relevant communication on such matters as events, training and development and policy.

Chapter and Division Committees provide focal points for REIV engagement with Members to ensure that REIV services and policy priorities meet the needs of Members wherever they are located and whatever their particular interests.

Chapter and Division Committee members have an opportunity to:

  • Engage with their peers

  • Share their views on issues, challenges, opportunities

  • Input to the development of REIV services

  • Contribute to the development of REIV policy

  • Play a part in shaping their sector/division, the real estate industry as a whole and REIV services

  • Learn – for example; about their sector/division, wider real estate industry, corporate governance, committee operation.
