Craigieburn is located 29 km north of the CBD. Craigieburn is a new suburb that features a young population predominately comprised of families. It is currently undergoing significant population growth on the tail of the rapid residential development although much of the northern part of the suburb remains rural. Craigieburn features a small shopping centre and a number of major employers such as the Reserve Bank of Australia Note Printing and Blue Circle Cement.
