REIV Home Buyers Seminar to help first time buyers

Date: 28 Oct 15

The Real Estate Institute of Victoria has partnered with Bendigo Bank to help first time buyers get a foothold on the property ladder.

The upcoming REIV Home Buyers Seminar will provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of the Victorian property market as well as valuable tips and insights from property, legal and financial experts.

REIV CEO Enzo Raimondo said the free seminar is designed to help first time buyers enter the market at a price they can afford.

"The REIV, in conjunction with Bendigo Bank, is offering more support to home buyers, ensuring they understand the financial and legal jargon as well as the purchasing process,” he said.

“The Melbourne property market has recorded significant growth over the past two years with its median house price passing the $700,000 barrier in June; however, there are still areas which offer real affordability for new buyers.

“House hunting can be a daunting time for many young and inexperienced buyers but a well-informed buyer can approach the market with confidence that they are making the right decision at the right time,” said Mr Raimondo.

The REIV Home Buyers Seminar is open to all members of the public. Seats are limited so attendees are advised to secure their place by registering early at www.reiv.com.au or by calling 9205 6666.
