Overview

Enrolments closed. All students currently enrolled must have all assessments completed and submitted by 3rd September 2021.  Access to REIV's e-learning platform will close on 3rd September 2021 at 11.59pm. No extensions can be granted and incompletion of the course does not warrant a refund.  

This course covers the education component required by the Business Licensing Authority (BLA) to work as an Agents Representative. The Agents representative course is fully online and self paced.  

As an Agent’s Representative you can work for a Licensed Real Estate Agent and undertake a broad range of duties and responsibilities such as sales, property management, business broking and buyer’s advocacy. Successful completion of the Agent’s Representative Course can lead you to many exciting career opportunities including:

What does this mean for you?

If you commenced your course prior to 1st June 2021. 
You must have all work submitted before your course expires. 

If your course expires
If your course does expire, you must apply for a course extension and pay the course extension fee before 27th of August 2021.  Course extensions cannot be granted after this date. It is your responsibility to apply and pay for an extension to your course.  Ensure the extension timeframe selected includes 3rd September 2021, as this is the deadline for all assessment submissions. The Agents Representative course will close and access to the eLearning platform (EtrainU) will be deactivated after this date.

The REIV will take no responsibility for enrolments which expire and do not complete the course.  Expired courses will have access to the eLearning portal (EtrainU) deactivated. Once you have extended your course ensure you submit all assessments before your course expires.

If you commenced your course after 1st June 2021. 
You must have all work submitted before 3rd September 2021 11:59 pm . The Agents Representative course will close and access to the eLearning platform (EtrainU) will be deactivated.  No extensions can be granted. Between 3rd September 2021 and 30th September 2021 assessors will mark all submitted assessments.    

You must be registered with the Business Licensing Authority (BLA) within 5 years from the date of the Statement of Attainment. Please note, BLA registrations are done by your employer.

Enrolments closed. All students currently enrolled must have all assessments completed and submitted by 3rd September 2021.  Access to REIV's e-learning platform will close on 3rd September 2021 at 11.59pm. The REIV advises this course has a very limited duration. No extensions can be granted and incompletion of the course does not warrant a refund.  

For courses commencing from June 2021, the fee includes:

  • All learning material and additional resources you require to complete your course.
  • All online assessments.
  • Final submission by 3rd September, including any resubmissions.​


Students are also eligible for a complimentary REIV Individual Membership if applied for within 6 months of Agent's Representative course completion date and employed with an REIV member agency.

This course is not eligible for government funding.

Entry Requirements

Whilst this course has no specific entry requirements, students will need access to a computer with reliable internet connectivity, with Microsoft Word 2007 or later (or compatible software) and Adobe Reader, a printer and scanner. Access to simple video facilities such as a mobile phone will also be required.

Students must be:

  • over 18 years of age

  • must reside in Victoria for the entire course*
     

* The REIV is not CRICOS approved and is unable to deliver to international students. You must hold a current green medicare card to be eligible. We cannot issue an award(certificate) without a green Medicare card. If a student does not reside in Victoria; we are unable to provide a Statement of Attainment.  It is the students responsibility to ensure they reside in Victoria prior to enrolment.

 
Students are expected to have a good understanding of the English language as the interpretation & application of legislation is a large part of the course. Students will also be required as part of their assessment to participate in role plays.
