Rohan Ingleton, Partner at Madgwicks Lawyers will present at the REIV June Breakfast to explore the issue of non-payment and what steps a commercial property manager can take on behalf of a landlord (i.e. lock outs) and the requirements/laws around abandoned goods. 

Joining Rohan, Sergiu Pop, Managing Director at Property Maintenance & Compliance Services will discuss the obligations around essential safety measures including thermal imaging, testing & tagging requirements and changes to the building regulations that commercial property managers need to be aware of.

Rohan has more than 24 years’ experience advising major corporations, government bodies, developers, vendors and purchasers, as well as landlords on a broad range of property law issues. He also acts for developers and investors on the acquisition and sale of commercial properties, as well as a number of CBD and CBD fringe properties.
Rohan is a fellow of the Australian Property Institute and responsible for the legal training of valuers seeking accreditation to become specialist valuers under the Retail Leases Act 2003 (Vic). In this role, he works closely with the Small Business Commissioner of Victoria.

With extensive industry knowledge and a background working for many years on the client side, Sergiu and the team assist clients with independent building compliance, site risk and condition auditing services specially tailored to client’s needs.
Prior to joining Property Maintenance & Compliance Services, Sergiu was a Senior Essential Safety Measures Auditor on various National Client owned sites, a portfolio Facilities Manager and an Associated Director within a National Asset Management Department.
