Victoria's finest auctioneers are ready to go head to head in the 2019 REIV Senior Auctioneers Competition - one of the most prestigious and coveted titles in the auction calendar. Spread over two days of competition, we invite you to join us to witness some of the State's most skilled and professional auctioneers in action.
The top two finalists of the REIV 2019 Senior Auctioneers’ Competition will represent Victoria in the 2019 Australasian Auctioneering Championships in Melbourne from 22 - 24 October 2019.
Heats: Tuesday 21 May 2019 - Register Below
Finalists will be announced at the end of the day.
Final: Wednesday 22 May 2019 - Book Now
The winner and runner-up will be announced upon completion of the Final.
These two competitors will then progress through to the 2019 Australasian Auctioneering Championship in October.
HEATS SCHEDULE
BLOCK ONE: 9.30am to 10.55am
BLOCK TWO: 11.20am to 12.45pm
Following the Heats this year, members are invited to participate in an interactive training session with three time Australasian Auction Champion, Mark Sumich. Mark will share tips and strategies learnt over his highly successful career.
The 2019 REIV Senior Auctioneer Finalists will be announced at the end of Mark's session.

Mark is a three-time Australasian Auctioneering Champion and
four-time NZ Auctioneering champion.
Mark has been calling auctions on the footpaths of Auckland
for 33 years. His fundraising work as an auctioneer has
raised millions of dollars, for schools and sports' organisations.
Mark currently trains and mentors nearly 50 auctioneers and
runs the REINZ novice auctioneering training.
More recently, he has been coaching auctioneers in several
states of Australia and oversees auctioneering competitions,
where his meticulous attention to detail is noteworthy.
