Retail Leases Webinar

Details

This webinar was postponed from 28 June.

Join us for a closer look at Small Business and the Victorian retail sector. We are pleased to be joined by the Small Business Commissioner Lynda McAlary-Smith and Research Manager Cushman Wakefield Glenn Lampard.

The Commissioner will talk about Calling Time – End of lease requirements as small businesses make the decision to close or move on and what she sees as hot button issues for discussion in the upcoming review and replacement of the Retail Leases Act 2003 later this year.

Glen's presentation will focus on What’s next for the retail sector? Already challenged before the COVID-19 pandemic breached our shores, the traditional retail offering was losing its shine. How can we reinvent this ‘third’ space? Does the lingering pandemic offer opportunities? Does the U.S. market hold any clues for what we might see here?

More details to follow.

Webinar link and access details will be provided the afternoon prior. Please contact [email protected] should you have any queries.
