The Retail Leases Amendment Bill was introduced to Parliament late last year, seeking to enact a number of changes to retail leasing laws.
The REIV has invited Sam Hopper, a leading retail and commercial leasing and property lawyer, and Barbara Cullen, Director of Small Business Victoria to explore the proposed changes, key elements of the Bill and the implications for landlords, tenants and property managers.

Sam is one of the Victorian Bar’s leading retail and commercial leasing and property lawyers. He regularly appears in the Supreme and County Courts and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. Sam Hopper is also a member of the Law Institute of Victoria’s PELS Leases Committee and the Australian Property Law Group Victoria Committee.
